Driver CPC Training in Doncaster: Keeping Your Fleet Compliant with TMS Doncaster

For businesses operating commercial vehicles in Doncaster and the surrounding Yorkshire region, maintaining compliance with Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) regulations is paramount. At TMS Doncaster, we understand the critical role that well-trained and certified drivers play in your operation's efficiency, safety, and legal standing. That's why we are dedicated to providing high-quality driver CPC training tailored to the needs of transport operators in Doncaster and beyond.

Understanding Driver CPC Requirements

The Driver CPC scheme mandates that professional drivers of large goods vehicles (LGVs) and passenger-carrying vehicles (PCVs) must undertake periodic training to maintain their professional qualification. This isn't a one-off test; it's an ongoing commitment to professional development. Drivers need to complete 35 hours of training over a five-year period to renew their Driver Qualification Card (DQC).

Failure to comply can result in severe penalties, including fines and the inability for drivers to operate their vehicles legally. For transport managers in Doncaster, ensuring their drivers are up-to-date with their CPC training is a core responsibility. This is where TMS Doncaster steps in, offering a comprehensive and convenient solution.
